Stay At Home Mom Jobs, How Many Different Ones Do You Do In A Day?
When you think of stay at home mom jobs, what comes to mind? Moms who have the best of both worlds, who get to stay home with their children and work and get paid as well?
Although this is a real scenario for many moms these days, (with more and more moms starting their own businesses everyday,) what we'd like to shed light on is the many jobs
that stay at home moms who are not working at home are doing already. Ladies, get ready to get some credit that is probably long overdue!
Being a stay at home mom usually means that we take care of almost everything around the house, often including but not limited to: Grocery shopping, cooking, dishes, laundry,
vacuuming, dusting, making beds, putting away anything out of place, (from toys, to books, to dirty underwear,) sorting, organizing, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the
garbage, (just how long are we expected to wait for hubby to do it?) washing windows, cleaning bathrooms, and doing yardwork. Did we leave anything out?
Oh yes, then there are the stay at home mom jobs that are all about taking care of the children. We are either changing diapers, helping with homework, feeding, bathing, caring
for them when they are sick, or being a referee. I know many of these are enjoyable things, and it is a privelege to be able to be home taking care of our children. The point
here is that it is hard work!
Believe it or not, there are still people out there who think that being a stay at home mom is easy. If they only knew! There are days where I
think I would love to have a break from the routine, maybe I could swap with some of my working counterparts. :)
I think the most important thing to remember is that no matter how many jobs you are doing, know that what you do is valuable. Although it may seem to some
like simple work, it is this work that keeps the world going around.
Just think about it, would the leaders of today be where they are if they would not have had someone at
some point in their lives take good care of them? I think not. So keep on doing those stay at home mom jobs, after all, you could be working for the future president. :)
